About J.L.j
Step into the world of J.l.j, where the love of music runs deep, and melodies are more than just sounds.
J.l.j, known as Jonny London Junior, chose his name as a heartfelt tribute to his late grandfather, Jonny London, a self-taught professional musician and an amazing entertainer. Jonny London tragically passed away while doing what he loved most—playing his piano to a live audience. Despite this early loss, J.l.j is determined to carry forward his grandfather's musical legacy.

J.l.j's musical journey began with a diverse blend of influences, from 80s pop to musical theater and worship music. These early influences contributed to his unique and soulful style.

J.l.j's fascination with music ignited at a young age, deepening through a unique experience. Arising from a period of critical illness, he discovered a talent for composing melodies in his mind. This inner inspiration found its way to the piano keys, sparking a lifelong love affair with music.

J.l.j's journey has taken him from the stage to the recording studio. He began professionally touring at just 16, and along the way, he collaborated with artists such as, 5 time Ivor Novello Awards winner Mike Batt and the '90s hip-hop group Jurassic 5's Soup (AKA Fullee Love). These experiences have shaped a career marked by ambition, creativity, and a deep commitment to the craft.

While performing at Glastonbury's West Holts stage remains a significant aspiration, J.l.j remains rooted in his passion for creating music that profoundly resonates with those who connect with it. For him, every stage and every song represents a step on this musical journey—a journey he's excited to share with you.
